The mission of the Savoie Mont Blanc Agency is to promote the Savoie Mont Blanc destination, which includes the Savoie and Haute-Savoie departments. We are dedicated to showcasing our exceptional region, highlighting the richness of our local products and expertise. Through multi-sectoral cooperation initiatives, we aim for excellence and are resolutely committed to the challenges of positive transition. For us, this is an essential growth driver that ensures the sustainable development and future of our region. Our goal is to communicate Savoie Mont Blanc's tourism offerings while meeting the new expectations of our visitors and partners. At the Savoie Mont Blanc Agency, we, Carole Duverney, François Degat, and Jérémy Le Moing, play a key role in promoting tourism in our magnificent departments, Savoie and Haute-Savoie. I'm Carole, and I oversee the Observatory, studies, and monitoring. The Observatory's work involves collecting, processing, and analyzing indicators and study results to, among other things, refine our future strategies. François, our Head of Event Operations, ensures dynamic interaction with the public on the ground, which is essential for our visibility. As for me, Jérémy, I handle strategic monitoring to unearth innovative ideas that will inspire local businesses and positively influence tourism development. Together, we adopt innovative approaches and integrate survey systems to understand our region.

Maintenant parlons enjeux ! Et pourquoi nous ?

Our project aimed to better understand our audience's perceptions and behaviors during events. Traditionally, we engaged with visitors through contests with short questionnaires, but without delving deeper into their views on the Savoie Mont Blanc destination. The challenge with this sustainable topic was to grasp the gap between expressed sustainable intentions and the actual actions of holidaymakers.

That's where Igonogo came in. I, François, suggested Igonogo because it offered an interactive and entertaining experience compared to standard survey tools, allowing us to engage the public in a fun way while collecting reliable data. As Head of Event Operations, I needed a tool that could capture participants' attention and enrich our understanding of their experiences. Jérémy, our strategic monitor, found Igonogo to be a way to align survey responses with reality. Often, discussions about sustainable development don't reflect observed behaviors. Igonogo allowed us to move beyond superficial typical responses to access deeper, more qualitative insights. As for me, Carole, what convinced me was Igonogo's ability to integrate the emotional dimension into data analysis. This is crucial, especially when dealing with topics like sustainable tourism, where there's often a gap between customers' feelings and their concrete actions. Igonogo provided us with the means to ask the right questions and obtain answers that accurately reflect our audience's opinions and behaviors.

What we appreciated most during our collaboration with Igonogo was the responsiveness and continuous support we received. I, Jérémy, was particularly impressed by how quickly you resolved the issues I encountered. This efficiency was very reassuring and ensured a smooth collaboration. Carole, for her part, found the coaching offered by Igonogo from start to finish to be perfect. Even though François and I, Jérémy, were primarily in charge, the feeling of being well-supported and accompanied by genuine assistance was extremely valuable for the entire team.

Regarding the benefits derived from using Igonogo, the project itself was to test this platform, and it proved to be an enriching discovery. Using Igonogo opened our minds to the possibilities of integrating more targeted and in-depth questions into our studies, questions we might not have considered before due to fear of bias. Igonogo allowed us to adopt a new approach, by "Igonogo-izing" our questionnaires, and the implicit insights gained significantly enriched our analysis. In short, our collaboration with Igonogo has been a real asset, bringing a new qualitative dimension to our work.

This helped convince the field team of the relevance of a tool like Igonogo for uncovering deeper insights while enhancing the respondent's experience through a playful and more fun approach. We now have the arguments to deploy it more widely within the Savoie Mont Blanc Agency.

Our experience with Igonogo has been so positive that we plan to continue our collaboration. There's real value in integrating this tool into our future studies. We can also utilize it during live events. This could not only improve on-site engagement but also provide continuous and appealing follow-up for our audience. From the event operations perspective, we see real relevance in the continued use of this tool. However, we need to maintain the simplicity and efficiency we've experienced while enriching the profile of the people surveyed. Igonogo gives us a legitimate reason to initiate dialogue with people, which can sometimes be delicate. It's a new engaging method that not only helps us connect with our audience but also enriches our understanding of their perception of Savoie Mont Blanc. The experience with Igonogo clearly proves that it provides us with valuable data. And if it can also offer us a better understanding of people's perceptions of our region and the specific issues we wish to explore at the Observatory, that's ideal. In summary, our desire to continue working with Igonogo is motivated by the tool's effectiveness, playful aspect, and potential to enrich our study approach and bring us closer to our audience.
